1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how PinProp ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service"). PinProp is a rental property listing and management platform operated by Stellium Connection Pte Ltd.
By using PinProp, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We collect information you voluntarily provide when using PinProp:
- Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, password (encrypted), agency name
- Profile Information: Profile photo, agency details
- Property Listings: Property details, descriptions, addresses, GPS coordinates, photos, videos
- Communications: Messages sent between users and agents, appointment requests and notes
- Payment Information: When you subscribe to a plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe retains your payment method details securely under their PCI-DSS compliant systems.
- Support Requests: Any information you provide when contacting support
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use PinProp, we may automatically collect:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: Features used, pages viewed, search queries, interaction patterns
- Location Data: GPS coordinates (only when you grant location permission for map features)
- Push Notification Tokens: Device tokens for delivering push notifications (only with your permission)
- Log Data: IP address, access times, error logs for debugging purposes
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Stripe: Transaction status and subscription details (not your full card number)
- Apple/Google: App Store purchase verification, if using Apple Pay or Google Pay
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and manage your account
- Process subscription payments securely via Stripe
- Display property listings and facilitate property searches
- Enable communication between tenants and agents
- Schedule and manage property viewing appointments
- Send push notifications about messages, appointments, and property alerts
- Send email notifications (password resets, 2FA codes, property expiry alerts)
- Generate analytics and insights for agents about their listings
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
- Comply with legal obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
4.1 With Other Users
- Property agents' contact information (name, phone, email) is displayed on their listings
- Messages you send to agents/tenants are visible to the recipient
- Your name is visible in appointment requests
4.2 With Service Providers
- Stripe: For payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
- FTP/Hosting Provider: For storing property images and videos on our secure servers
- Email Service: For sending transactional emails (password resets, 2FA codes, notifications)
- Push Notification Service: Expo Push Notifications for delivering app notifications
4.3 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PinProp, our users, or the public.
5. Data Storage and Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt encryption and never stored in plain text
- All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- FTP file transfers use FTPS (FTP over TLS) encryption
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is available for additional account security
- Database access is restricted and protected by authentication
- We conduct regular security reviews of our systems
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained as long as your account is active
- Property listings: Retained until deleted by the agent or expired, plus a reasonable period for backups
- Messages and appointments: Retained as long as the associated accounts are active
- Payment records: Retained as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years)
- Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging and security purposes
- Deleted accounts: All personal data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion, including uploaded files (images, videos) from our servers
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
7.1 Access and Portability
- View your profile information in the Account tab
- View all your property listings, messages, and appointments within the app
7.2 Correction
- Update your profile information at any time via Account > Edit Profile
- Edit or update your property listings
7.3 Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data:
- Account tab > "Delete My Account" > type "DELETE" > confirm
- This permanently removes: your profile, all properties (including uploaded images and videos from our servers), messages, appointments, favorites, saved searches, leads, and subscription data
- Alternatively, contact us at support@stelliumconnect.com to request deletion
7.4 Notification Preferences
- Manage push notification preferences in Account > Notification Settings
- Unsubscribe from email notifications via the link in any email
- Disable 2FA if no longer desired
7.5 Location Data
- You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings
- The app will continue to function without location access, but map features may be limited
8. Children's Privacy
PinProp is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we become aware that a child under 17 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
PinProp may contain links to third-party websites or services:
- Google Maps: For property location and directions
- Stripe: For payment processing
- App Store / Google Play Store: For app distribution
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
11. Platform-Specific Disclosures
11.1 Apple App Store (iOS)
- PinProp collects data as described in this policy and disclosed in our App Store privacy labels
- We use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. PinProp does NOT track you across other companies' apps or websites
- Paid subscriptions on iOS are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles all payment processing via your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details for iOS purchases.
- Subscription management and cancellation for iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > PinProp
11.2 Google Play Store (Android)
- PinProp complies with Google Play's data safety requirements
- Google Pay transactions are processed by Stripe; Google does not share your actual card number with us
- We do not use advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the updated policy within the app
- Sending a push notification about the update
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
